Terms of Use

Welcome to VocaTune! By using the web app, the VST/AU plugin, or any other VocaTune software (we'll call it the "Service"), you're agreeing to these terms. They're written in plain English on purpose — please give them a real read. If something here doesn't sit right with you, that's totally fine, just don't use the Service.

VocaTune is provided "as is" and "as available". We work hard to keep it amazing, but we can't promise it'll be perfect for every voice, every track, or every session.

You're using the Service at your own risk. VocaTune, its creator, and the team behind it aren't liable for lost audio, broken project files, missed deadlines, lost revenue, or anything else that might happen along the way. Please back up your originals before processing — always a good habit anyway.

This is the important one, so we'll say it clearly and kindly:

You are not allowed to copy this plugin, take code from it, or reuse any part of it for any purpose — period. All of the AI models, trained weights, source code, algorithms, UI, design, graphics, artwork, sounds, presets, names, logos, and the "VocaTune" trade name belong exclusively to VocaTune and its creator.

That means absolutely no:

• Copying, redistributing, or republishing the Software or any part of it.
• Reverse-engineering, decompiling, or disassembling the plugin, models, or weights.
• Extracting model files, presets, samples, or graphics for use in any other product.
• Building a clone, knockoff, or "inspired-by" plugin that mimics our UI, branding, or single-knob workflow.
• Using the VocaTune name, logo, or graphics without written permission.
• Stripping or hiding any copyright or ownership notices.

Anyone who breaks the law here will be pursued to the fullest extent permitted under applicable copyright, trademark, and trade-secret law — including injunctions and damages. We take this seriously.

When you buy VocaTune, you get a personal, non-transferable license to install and activate the plugin on up to 2 work machines that you own and use (for example: your studio desktop + your laptop). That's your setup, no need to ask.

The license is tied to you — please don't share your license key, installer, or account with other people, and don't install it on machines that aren't yours. If you change computers, just deactivate the old one and install on the new one.

Studios, schools, or teams: each seat needs its own license. Get in touch and we'll sort you out with team pricing.

When you upload a vocal or audio file, you're confirming that you either own it or have permission from everyone involved (singers, writers, producers, label) to process it through VocaTune.

You keep 100% ownership of your recordings. We don't claim rights to your masters — we just process them and hand them back. If a third party comes after us because of something you uploaded, you agree to cover us for that.

Please don't use VocaTune to process content that's illegal, stolen, hateful, or that hurts other people. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that abuse the Service.

To the maximum extent allowed by law, the total liability of VocaTune and its creator for anything related to these Terms or the Service is capped at what you paid us in the 12 months before the issue. We hope it never comes to that — but it's only fair to put it in writing.

We may tweak these Terms from time to time. If you keep using VocaTune after we update them, that means you accept the new version. The "Last updated" date at the top always reflects the latest revision.

These Terms are governed by the applicable law of the jurisdiction where VocaTune operates, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
